Galina Kiryushina is a PhD graduate of the Centre for Irish Studies and former KREAS researcher. Her current research focuses on intermediality in the work of Samuel Beckett, in particular the transitions between the media of film and television and Beckett’s late prose. Her essays on Beckett and cinema have appeared as journal articles and book chapters, including in Beckett and Modernism (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018) and Samuel Beckett Today/Aujourd’hui 32.1 (Brill, 2020). With Einat Adar and Mark Nixon, she has co-edited Samuel Beckett and Technology (Edinburgh University Press, 2021), and has a chapter forthcoming in The Oxford Handbook of Samuel Beckett (Oxford University Press, 2024).
