Eric S. Petersen, a leading expert on the life and works of Thomas Jefferson, gave a lecture entitled “The Vision of Thomas Jefferson” at the Faculty of Arts on 5 May 2010. Eric S. Petersen studied American History at Brown University and law at the University of Chicago. Since 1993, he has been researching Jefferson’s political papers, speeches and personal correspondence. He works as a lawyer in New York, USA.
