The Centre of Irish studies invites you to a lecture Lost Decades or Decades of Change? Mid-Twentieth-Century Ireland by Tomás Finn from the University of Galway.

Tomás Finn is a lecturer in history at the University of Galway. His research interests include the role of intellectuals, Church-state relations, public policy, civil society, the Irish Diaspora and Northern Ireland. His monograph Tuairim, intellectual debate and policy formulation: Rethinking Ireland, 1954-75 (Manchester UP, 2012) has won the NUI Galway School of Humanities Book Prize.

The lecture will take place on April 18, 12:30-14:00 in Room 111.
