The Protagonist: New Student Academic Journal Founded by DALC Students

The Protagonist was founded by students from the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures as an academic interdisciplinary journal focusing on anglophone countries, which seeks to provide students with the opportunity to share their work and to acquaint themselves with the processes of peer review, editing, and publication.

The aim of the journal is to produce thematic issues that will explore diverse questions related to anglophone countries from different academic perspectives. The journal is open to students from Charles University and from other universities as well.

To achieve international accessibility, The Protagonist is published in English. The journal also accepts papers in Czech, but these will be translated into English.

How to get involved:

  • become a member of the journal advisory board (peer review)
  • answer the upcoming Call for Papers at the end of February
  • share the news with anyone who might be interested

For further information, kindly contact the journal at: theprotagonistpress@gmail.com
