Senior Lecturer. Her research focuses on contemporary Irish and British poetry, Irish-language writing, and feminist and translation theory. She is currently working on a research project focusing on poetry and ecology. She is the author of Limits and Languages in Contemporary Irish Women’s Poetry (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020) and has contributed to a number of edited volumes (Cambridge University Press, Wake Forest University Press, Charles University). Her articles have appeared in Review of Irish Studies in Europe, Litteraria Pragensia, Études irlandaises, Revue Souvislosti, Revolver Revue, and A2. She has translated from both English and Irish into Czech, including novels by Colm Tóibín, Kate Atkinson, and Marilynne Robinson, short stories by Pádraic Ó Conaire, Rivka Galchen, and Lorrie Moore, plays by J. M. Synge, and poetry by Vona Groarke, Caitríona O’Reilly, Alice Oswald, Máirtín Ó Direáin, Aifric Mac Aodha, and Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill.

Since 2021 she has been member of the editorial team of RISE (Review of Irish Studies in Europe).
