 23,24,27 June, 7.30pm

Vincent Farnsworth's  play "Prague to New Orleans via UFO"

23rd, 24th and 27th June at 7.30 p.m. at Studio Kámen.

In this special production students team up with professional American actors living in Prague to bring the story of Jan and Penelope to life.

Set in post-flood Prague in 2002, a young Czech-American couple's life turns upside down when an Egyptian sarcophagus is found in a New Orleans swamp.
Penelope has become used to living in Prague and so the idea of going back to New Orleans with her Czech husband Jan brings her to the verge of a hysteria so powerful that even her favourite Crunchy Puffs breakfast cannot cure it.
A sudden visit from her mother Francine does not improve the situation. Forced to set out on the journey alone, Jan ventures into the murky swamps near New Orleans to examine reports of a newly discovered sarcophagus. Accompanied only by Francine who is still unnerved by her husband Bancroft’s mysterious disappearance years before, he learns that there is more than one way to get to New Orleans.
